European imperialism and NATO expansion are responsible for the massacre of African migrants in Melilla
We, the signatory parties, movements and popular organizations, have learned, with consternation and anger, of the massacre perpetrated by the Moroccan police against African migrants seeking to go to Melilla, which has resulted in the death of dozens of them, a large number of injured and the detention of 60 migrants.
We condemn, with force, these barbaric crimes whose responsibility lies with the Moroccan regime, the guardian of European imperialism.
We consider that these migrants are the victims of European imperialism and of the African regimes in its pay which have cut Africa in half, thus condemning its peoples to misery and its youth to emigration.
We call on all democratic forces in the world to condemn these barbaric acts and on African movements fighting against European imperialism to join forces to impose the liberation of Africa from the yoke of imperialism and its henchmen, the only way to put an end to the carving up of this continent, the misery of its peoples and the despair of its youth.
We express our condolences to the families of the deceased migrants, we wish a speedy recovery to the injured and call for the release of the detained migrants.
