Call for action: Stop the war, end the Massacres and express solidarity with the Sudanese people

The International Peoples’ Assembly (IPA) and Pan Africanism Today (PAT) strongly condemn the brutal massacres currently unfolding in Sudan, including in the cities of El-Fasher and Bara, and across the regions of Darfur and Kordofan. We stand with the Sudanese people facing systematic violence, mass displacement, executions, and terror against civilians under the hands of armed forces acting with complete impunity. This brutal war is not merely a humanitarian crisis; it is a genocide.
What the world is witnessing today is not a tragedy born of chaos, it is the continuation of a historic pattern of counter-revolutionary violence, ethnic targeting, and state-enabled paramilitary terror. This conflict is also fueled by regional and international powers – such as the tycoons of the United Arab Emirates – seeking to fracture Sudan, plunder its resources, and weaken its sovereignty.
Today, the Sudanese people face a destructive war machine, defending their dignity, communities, and right to live.
The IPA and PAT join the voices of the Sudanese people and their democratic forces in demanding urgent international mobilization and concrete action:
We call upon trade unions, peasant organizations, women’s movements, youth, progressive governments, social movements, and all forces of peace and justice around the world to:
We affirm the steadfast struggle of the Sudanese people and their democratic, revolutionary forces who continue to mobilize for a civilian, democratic, and socially just Sudan. Their fight is part of the global struggle against militarism, capitalism, racism, and imperialism, and for peoples’ self-determination and dignity.
The blood of the victims cannot be met with silence. The world must not look away.
Stop the massacres, open humanitarian corridors and hold the criminals accountable.
Justice, peace, and sovereignty for the Sudanese people.
