INTERNATIONAL STATEMENT IN SOLIDARITY WITH PALESTINE AND IN REJECTION OF THE ZIONIST MASSACRE IN GAZA

We are following the brutal Zionist attacks against the Palestinian people and their resistance with great interest and grave concern. These attacks have taken the form of a vicious war of extermination with the brazen support of US imperialism, and its allies in Europe. (…)

We stand against the criminalization and dehumanization of the Palestinian people, and defend their right to resist. We reject the misinformation campaign fabricated by Israel and its allies to foment prejudice, spread hate and justify aggressions against the Palestinian people. The struggle for self determination, sovereignty, and the defense of human dignity must not be labeled “terrorism.” Furthermore, we denounce and firmly reject the criminalization of solidarity with Palestine by nation states supporting Zionism. (…)

We call on all progressive forces and supporters of freedom around the world to take to the streets and squares, and engage in all forms of support for Palestine. (…)

We demand:

1. An immediate end to all aggression and a ceasefire in Gaza.

2. End the blockade of Gaza.

3. The return of all the territory to the Palestinian people.

4. End the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

14th October 2023, International People’s Assembly

IPA WOMEN’S GROUP ON NOVEMBER 25TH

The Women’s Group of the International Peoples’ Assembly calls all conscientious people worldwide and popular organizations, to stand against the genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza and to prosecute the war crimes being committed against the Palestinian people.

The systematic genocide in Gaza and the continuous bombing of cities in the West Bank is the latest in a 75-year-old Zionist campaign waged against the Palestinian people, which involves not only the destruction of Gaza with the deadly Israeli arsenal but also the deprivation of the most basic elements of life, including water, food, medicine, and fuel.

This offensive is achieved through a brutal siege imposed by a Nazi war machine, engaging in systematic genocide in an attempt to displace the rightful landowners and eliminate those waging the Palestinian struggle. These are crimes against humanity!

We call on all progressive and democratic forces worldwide to:

  • Sign this declaration, as organizations by sending their organization name and country to [email protected].
  • To highlight the Palestinian cause during activities held on November 25th – International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women – and display solidarity with women in Palestine.

More than 300 cities across the world held rallies in solidarity with Palestine

More than 300 cities across the world have held mobilizations to end the Israeli siege on Palestine and calling for a cease-fire in Gaza in the International Day of Solidarity with Palestine, on November 4th. This massive mobilization is the largest global mobilization in solidarity with Palestine in history.

The past four weeks have seen the formation of a global, broad and decentralized solidarity movement with Palestinian people like never before in the history of the Palestinian liberation struggle. Thousands of organizations and communities have mobilized and organized to call for a cease-fire in Palestine. Among these is the International Peoples’ Assembly (IPA), a network of more than 200 Left organizations across the world and primarily in the Global South. Together with hundreds of organizations the IPA released a solidarity statement with Palestine on October 18th, which called for November 4th to be the International Day of Solidarity with Palestine.

“We are grateful to you when we see you in the streets, cheering for Palestine and cheering for this legendary resilience of an oppressed people. This Zionist aggression on Palestine and on us in the diaspora as well, this aggression that we haven’t seen the likes of, not in Vietnam with

American brutality there, nor in World War II”, declared Leila Khaled, historic leader of Palestinian resistance and member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

Several protests, marches and seminars in hundreds of cities around the world are being organized on November 4 and the days before and after. These mobilizations are organized by hundreds of organizations including those that signed the IPA statement and Arab communities across the world.

Since its foundation, the International Peoples Assembly has supported the self- determination of Palestine, decried the apartheid state of Israel sponsored by US imperialism, and defended the right to resistance of the Palestinian people.
