Unite Against Imperialist War: No War on Iran!

The escalating aggression by Israel, with the unwavering backing of the United States, against Iran is not merely a regional threat; it is a reckless gamble that jeopardizes global peace and perpetuates a devastating legacy of intervention in the Middle East. For decades, the United States and Israel have inflicted catastrophic violence and instability upon this region. We remember the invasion of Iraq, built on deceitful claims, which cost over a million lives and unleashed unending cycles of violence. Now, in a grotesque echo of the past, Israel – the only nuclear power in the region – claims to seek peace through an attack on Iran, despite the International Atomic Energy Agency confirming Iran is not pursuing nuclear weapons.

The potential direct involvement of the United States in a war on Iran would be a global catastrophe. This aggression risks expanding the genocidal violence unfolding in Gaza to populations across the entire region, leading to unimaginable human suffering and mass displacement. A war for regime change in Iran would decisively tip the global balance of power towards increasingly fascist and genocidal regimes, emboldening the United States in its ruthless pursuit of total imperial domination at any cost.

At a moment when humanity confronts existential threats like climate change, our leaders should be uniting to forge solutions for peace, cooperation, and collective survival. Instead, we witness a relentless march towards war, driven by an imperialist agenda that prioritizes domination over diplomacy, and destruction over dialogue.

The people of the world demand an immediate end to these dangerous escalations! We demand a commitment to peace, justice, sovereignty and the preservation of all life!

The International Peoples’ Assembly calls for an urgent International Week of Action, Agitation, and Mass Mobilization against the US-Israeli war on Iran, from June 21th to June 28th.
