Solidarity with the People of Venezuela

We, the member organizations of ALBA Movimientos, wish to express our solidarity with the beloved people of Venezuela in the wake of the earthquakes that struck the country yesterday causing unprecedented material and human damage in hundreds of cities, communities, and neighborhoods.

For ALBA Movimientos, Venezuela represents home, family, and an example of revolutionary resistance. We are deeply pained by the suffering endured by thousands of Venezuelans, as well as by the hundreds of our comrades who have resisted the intensified imperialist offensive against the Bolivarian Revolution this year.

We send our embrace of solidarity to all the families of the victims and we stand ready to take any action we can from the various countries in the region to help those affected by this disaster.

At ALBA Movimientos, we will always stand with Venezuela and its brave people.
